Restaurants in Jersey Channel Isles England
Bistro Soleil La Route de la Haule, Beaumont (01534
720249)
The Bistro Soleil rests decadently on the
water’s edge at Beaumont. Unsurprisingly for a restaurant so
near the sea it specialises in fantastic seafood dishes such
as langoustines and pan-fried scallops. There’s also a
choice of non-seafood dishes such as calf’s liver and
Gressingham duck with plenty of vegetarian options too.
Longueville Manor Longueville Road, St Saviour (01534 725501)
Longueville Manor was the first of Jersey’s
prestigious restaurants to earn itself a Michelin Star. Set in
an elegant 13th century manor house you can expect
modern European cuisine and excellent service. This is
definitely the place to celebrate a special occasion and when
you can afford to push the boat out a bit.
Suma’s Gorey (01534 853291)
Suma is the younger sister restaurant to
Longueville Manor, with a much younger and more contemporary
feel. Set overlooking the harbour at Gorey and Mont Orgueil
Castle the location is every bit as satisfying as the food.
The menu is carefully prepared and lovingly presented and
includes delights such as Roquefort risotto and
truffle-scented woodland mushrooms.
Hotel La Place Route Du Coin, La Haule (01534 744261)
The dining room at the Hotel La Place is all
you would expect of a 17th century farmhouse and
more. There are the exposed oak beams, coats of arms and
tapestry style chairs. The menu combines the best of modern
and traditional cooking with classics such as roast beef and
Yorkshire pudding sit comfortably alongside prawn Creole.
The Atlantic Hotel
The Atlantic restaurant like so many of
Jersey’s best restaurants is hotel based. Here you’ll find
a recently update hotel featuring an elegant restaurant with
views out over the sea. The menu is a modern British one, with
only the very finest fresh produce used to guarantee great
quality and flavour. The desserts are a speciality here too
including an irresistible hot lemon soufflé.
